VR EVENT ENTERTAINMENT IN LEEDS
Unreal Events is a fully mobile business in England, so is well-placed to support events in Leeds and across Yorkshire and beyond. We love taking our pop-up VR sports experiences to a wide range of events across the city and the surrounding areas… from dedicated event venues such as the the Royal Armouries, to the towns and cities across the county of Yorkshire and beyond.
So whether you’re organising an exhibition in Elland, an activation in Almondbury or a wedding in Wakefield, we’d love to explore how Unreal could add an interactive, immersive virtual sporting experience to make your event truly memorable.
Because whether you choose VR golf, clay pigeon shooting, tennis, one of our other five virtual sports, or even a Virtual Sport Day, you can be rest assured that your guests will be entertained with a novel, competitive, fun experience.

For comfort and safety, we recommend a minimum of 2m x 2m of floorspace. Standard height ceilings (c2.5m / 8’) are fine for most sports, even golf. For tennis, we recommend 3m if possible. For more than one headset being used concurrently, we’ll of course need more a bit more space, depending on the game / format.
Otherwise, VR works best in a well lit room, avoiding bright direct sunlight if possible, and not too warm.
-
Absolutely! Our standard backdrop is 2.4m x 2.4m and can be customised to any design you wish - just supply us with a high resolution, square image, and we’ll do the rest! We charge £200+VAT for printing, and the banner (fits frame with top and bottom pole) is yours to keep after the event.
Other custom branding opportunities include floor mats, stretch tablecloth and polo shirts for our hosts - enquire to find out more.

It depends on the game, but each have short formats that typically take 2-5 minutes. Need to entertain more than 12-30 people an hour? Just add a second or third setup, and double or triple the throughput to 36-90 per hour.
-
Are you in mainland Britain? If so, yes! We’ve covered many events, from the depths of Scotland to the Kent coast, and are happy to travel to wherever your event is located. In Ireland, mainland Europe or further afield? Please enquire, and if we can make it work, we’d love to see your part of the world.

Historically, this was common. However, in addition to technological advancements (i.e. lower latency). we’ve taken several steps to minimise if not irradicate the risk of this occurring. These include providing a tactile floor surface, specifying games with teleport and ‘snap turn’ options, and running short game formats. Please contact us to discuss any remaining concerns. We’ve yet to have a single complaint of motion sickness at any events.
-
Yes absolutely. Unreal Events provides a widescreen TV for each headset in use, so that spectators are engaged in the experience. We can also often utilise screens that are in-situ, in addition or instead of our TVs. The process of sharing the VR images in near real-time can be complex. We have six methods to do so, including carrying a mobile router as contingency for Wi-Fi issues.
